Workshop: Managing Pain with Music
Tuesday, June 8th, 6:30-8pm, in Seattle (9th Ave NE & 45th St) An introductory workshop
about various ways music can address chronic and acute pain. We will
also touch upon cognitive and mindfulness approaches to pain
management.

Workshop: Songwriting for the Soul
Saturday, June 26th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, in Seattle (9th Ave NE & 45th St) Songs can express the
essence of spirit in unique ways. This workshop explores the use
of songwriting for self-expression, communication, and creating change
in self and others. Techniques include improvisational songwriting,
point of view songs, and music theory to include use of song forms,

Presentation: Transforming Conflict Through Music Brown Bag Lunch, King County Dispute Resolution Center,
at Good Shepard Center in Seattle, WA

presentation will explore the ways that music can address conflict and
how it can be used with mediation. It will highlight my doctoral
