traditional tunes. Social commentary on present-day issues has been
known to seep into performances.

occasions:
- Weddings

“My
wife, Maureen, and I are really enjoying your
CD. Beautiful. I don’t know if I mentioned this to you, but I
have a very narrow definition of what I like. Your voice and song
choices are exactly what I like. Thank you.”
David Bennett
Cohen (Former band member of Country Joe and the Fish)
“Hey
Girl, did you ever sing opera? Your voice is beautiful. Thanks for the
CD.”
Diane Ponzio,
Singer-songwriter, Martin Guitar Company
“Your
CD is lovely, Barbara. “How can I keep
from singing” has been an all time favorite of mine. And so
many
of your originals are enjoyable even in their initial hearing. What a
lovely voice you are…in many ways!”
Patricia
Campbell, PhD, School of Music, University of Washington

“Our
congregation at Unity of Whidbey has enjoyed Barbara's
singing and musicianship during our Sunday worship services on numerous
occasions. As the spiritual leader of the church, I have appreciated
her enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate on creating the service
with me, always choosing the perfect songs to support the theme of the
day. Her presence and her music inevitably enrich our Sunday
experience.”

Knight-Burdsal, Spiritual Leader, Unity of Whidbey
