​And do not underestimate the power of voices that rise together in song! Preaching to the Choir is commonly thought to be wasted time in trying to move a cause forward. Presumably, the Choir already gets it and energy should be focused on people who do not get it. Yet, it is the choir that is speaking (singing) up and moving & shaking us forward.
